Terms of use

Chaining Tatum is a Discord bot and web panel for Torn factions, run by the operator of this service. It manages a chain-watch rotation and related tools. It is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Torn or Discord.

Someone who manages a Discord server may set it up, and a member of a set-up server may hand in their own key. By submitting a Torn API key you confirm it is yours or that its owner agreed, and that using it this way is allowed under Torn's rules.

Every feature of the bot is a product of its own that a server books separately, priced at from 5 Xanax per 30 days. You pay in Xanax in Torn to the account shown on the subscription page. The Xanax land on your server's balance once the payment is matched to it, and booking a product takes its price from that balance. A booked product runs for 30 days and then renews itself for another 30 days, taking its price from the balance, for as long as the balance covers it. If the balance is too low, the product ends. It starts again by itself once enough balance is there, unless you cancelled the renewal. You can cancel the renewal at any time on the subscription page, the product then runs until the end of the period already paid. Without a running product the commands of that product are locked. A chain watch that is already running may finish and is ended with /chain-stop, after that no new one can be started until ChainCommand is running again. The bot's mention replies run as long as any product is running. Your settings stay saved.

A period that has been booked is not refunded. Balance that has not been used can be requested back as a payout on the subscription page. A payout is not guaranteed, it is up to the operator, who sends the Xanax by hand in Torn. The requested amount leaves your balance right away, and comes back if the request is declined. A payment that cannot be matched automatically can be assigned by the operator by hand.

Custom bot lines and notes go live immediately, without review. You are responsible for what you submit, not the operator.

No abuse of the service, no attempts to get at other servers' data, no use that breaks Discord's or Torn's rules. The operator may lock a server that does.

The service is provided as it is, on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee that it runs without interruption or detects every hit correctly. Do not rely on it as the only thing keeping a chain alive.

You can stop at any time by removing your key and the bot from your server. Remaining paid time of a booked period is not refunded. The operator can end the service or change these terms, changes apply from the day they are published here. Unused balance can be requested back as described above.

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses caused by outages, missed or wrongly counted hits, or a broken chain. Liability that cannot be excluded by law stays unaffected.
